The glass, layer by layer.
Two clear panes. One fire-rated interlayer between them. Cured until it disappears, and ready to turn into a heat shield the moment a fire starts.
Milky in. Clear out.
The interlayer goes in between the panes as a milky liquid.
Heat and time set the chemistry. The haze starts to lift.
Fully cured, the unit comes out crystal clear.

The numbers that matter.
Insulated fire glass
These are the figures that matter when you specify insulated glazing. Final ratings depend on the tested door or screen system the glass goes into.

The chemistry comes from the only places that make it right: Germany, Japan and India.
Fire-rated interlayer chemistry is specialist, and only a few producers make it to the standard fire glass needs. We import it from them, store and handle it to each maker's rules, and turn it into finished glass here in Singapore. In a fire, it foams into a thick, opaque layer that blocks radiant heat.
